Individual Counselling Sessions ($160, 50 minutes)

Individual counselling is a personal and confidential process where a person works one-on-one with a trained therapist (Courtney) to address various mental health issues and challenges. This type of counselling provides a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours with the guidance of a compassionate and non-judgmental professional. You may choose individual counselling to gain insights and awareness into your mental health, develop coping strategies for things like stress, anxiety, and/or depression, and improve your overall well-being. By focusing on personal growth and self-awareness, individual sessions can help people navigate life's challenges more effectively, build resilience, and enhance their quality of life.

Couples Counselling Sessions ($185, 50 minutes)

Couples counselling is a form of psychotherapy that helps partners in a romantic relationship improve their mental health and communication skills. By working with a trained therapist, couples can address and resolve conflicts, deepen their understanding of each other, and strengthen their emotional connection. This type of therapy provides a safe and supportive environment where both partners can openly express their feelings, concerns, and desires. Choosing couples counselling can be particularly beneficial for those experiencing ongoing conflicts, emotional distance, or difficulties in communicating effectively. It empowers couples to develop healthier communication patterns, enhance their emotional intimacy, and build a more resilient and fulfilling relationship, ultimately contributing to their mental well-being overall.

Couples counseling can be particularly beneficial for couples dealing with chronic illness, as it addresses the unique emotional and relational challenges that arise with a diagnosis. Chronic illness often imposes significant stress on both the affected individual and their partner, impacting mental health and communication. Couples therapy provides a structured space where both partners can express their fears, frustrations, and hopes, fostering mutual understanding and empathy. It helps partners develop effective communication strategies to navigate the complexities of caregiving, role changes, and emotional burdens. Additionally, therapy can offer coping mechanisms and support in managing the chronic illness together, thereby strengthening the couple's resilience and maintaining a sense of connection and support in the face of ongoing health challenges.

Family Counselling Sessions ($200, 50 minutes)

Family counselling is designed to address and improve the mental health and communication within a family unit. This form of counselling provides a safe space for family members to express their feelings, understand each other's perspectives, and develop healthier communication patterns. When dealing with chronic illness, the emotional and psychological strain can be significant, affecting not only the individual with the illness but also the family as a whole. Family counseling can help families navigate these challenges by fostering resilience, promoting understanding, and offering strategies to cope with the stress and anxiety associated with chronic health conditions. Choosing family counselling can lead to stronger familial bonds, enhanced support systems, and a better overall quality of life for all members involved
