Meet Courtney

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#12298) with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University in Vancouver, BC. I completed a BA in Psychology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS.

As a counsellor, I hope to foster a safe and comfortable environment where my clients feel supported and accepted. I am passionate about working with people and guiding them toward their personal goals.

I truly enjoy working with clients to navigate and process their difficult emotions in a healthy way. My goal is to provide the skills and tools to help clients cope and deal with life’s challenges so they can find more joy.

I have extensive experience working with brain wellness and chronic illness including Parkinson’s Disease, cognitive decline, concussion/head injury, and other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and grief.  My personal connection to Parkinson’s disease brought me to the Parkinson Society British Columbia where I helped launch their counselling program.

Outside of my practice I enjoy cooking, travelling and spending time with my family (I have 2 young boys) and friends.

Let me introduce myself

"I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Courtney as my mental health counsellor. She's an exceptional listener who has a remarkable ability to ask probing questions without ever making it feel intrusive. Her approach is gentle yet effective, and she has a unique way of making you feel like life is not just manageable, but truly doable. Courtney's support has been invaluable to me, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate and insightful counsellor."
